AquaSpace (Ecosystem Approach to making space for sustainable aquaculture) is a three year long project funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Horizon 2020 research programme.
SMART (Sustainable Management of Aquaculture through Remote sensing Technology) is a project funded by the European Space Agency, ESA, in the framework of the research programme Innovator III, aimed at promoting the innovative use of satellite data.
Bluefarm took part to the Copernicus Masters 2017, within the section Copernicus Masters Sustainable Development Challenge, reaching the 3rd place in the final evaluation. Being within the 50 winners of Copernicus Masters 2017, Bluefarm was involved in the Copernicus Accelerator Bootcamp. Through this Accelerator, Bluefarm currently benefits of a coaching activity funded by Copernicus, and carried out a recognized expert in the field (Dr. Sergio Samarelli – Planetek Italia).
